Hortiflora Ethiopia 2007 exhibition an international exhibition held at the Addis Ababa exhibition center was opened by H.E Ato Addisu Legesse Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. It is the second horticulture exhibition hosted by Ethiopian Horticulture Producers Exporters Association (EHPEA) and its organizing partners. EHPEA has also taken the initiatives to coin the phrase of “The new Face Of Ethiopia” as it's central motto in promoting the new Ethiopia to the world. According to the chairman of EHPEA Ato Tsegaye Abebe the motto will be our country's new face and image for the coming millennium celebrations.
Well over 150 companies from more than 20 countries have participated as major exhibitors. Apart from display of products, Horti Flora Ethiopia 2007 introduced know how and skills for effective logistics including seed/seedling development and market know how in horticulture. The exhibition is giving the best chance to approach exhibitors with their products and services and exchange useful ideas with all possibilities to establish new business contacts as end results.
