Achievements

 Has gained recognition by the government and other   stakeholders
 Facilitated the establishment of a share company named   Ethio-Horti Share that coordinate cargo operations and aimed   to import and supply agricultural inputs and sell to members at   better price, required time and quantity.
 Number of members increased rapidly (currently 51 companies   are members of EHPEA)
 Established partnership with the government and donors
 Secured financial and technical assistance from various donor   agencies
 Advocated and lobbied policy makers on issues pertinent to the   horticulture sector
 Assist members in solving their day-to-day impediments facing   in the process of implementing their investment projects both   at pre-operation and operation phases.
 Prepared the first international flower exhibition in March 2005   in collaboration with HPP and this will continue in the future on   regular basis.
